Nicky's Nuggets to Real Life Stress
Yesterday, while running errands I was actually focused on my present and recognized the "pull" sign at the bank. Normally I would be multi-tasking or thinking of the next phase of my day and try to push the door then realize it wouldn't work. I realized at that moment that I had just gained a couple of seconds in my day and made it promptly to my next meeting. The entire day was filled with awesome travels, meaningful appointments, perfect parking spots, time managed and in control of my own desires, lots of organization, and completed tasks.
One of those tasks was checking in for my trip the following day(today). As I was nearing completion I was asked to be a volunteer and normally I might just say "oh sorry I have a seat and no time for modifications", but this time I said "yes". I figured that it was early enough in the day and if someone needs it more than I then so be it. As I was typing this I heard an attendant with an elderly lady in a wheel chair respond to another attendant's questions if they were on this flight...."Stand-by". I still have yet to know if I will be put on a later flight, but regardless, I know that my intention is meaningful if that's the path intended.
Can you see how important it is to leave room in our days for doing things that positively impact others? Had I pushed that door instead of pulled that may have been the seconds that changed the course of my day as well as someone else's.
Slow down, focus on the "signs", and celebrate with your Sisterhood.
Speaking of...I can't wait until my return next week as a brand new Guilt-Free by Design Sisterhood kicks off. A small group of success-driven women are going to be creating visions, busting blocks, manifesting, and becoming leaders of their households as well as their business/industries.
The best part...is going to be getting to know each one more and seeing just how "not alone" we are!
