When most people think of "networking" they think of handing out business cards, walking around in a daze until someone makes eye contact, or striking up a conversation with someone that you likely know already and catch up at each networking event. There is likely some commonalities and relationships that begin to form, hopes about how each can support the others businesses and sales as well as a few good laughs. They leave feeling really good about the conversation and then life gets in the way and they forget or mean to catch up with each other and then a whole month goes by and they begin the conversation where they left off last time. Most networking meetings allow for information sharing, meet and greet, business card exchange, and some sharing which limits the time to build a solid connection with another person.
Here's the thing, let's say that you would network with this same person each and every month and over the course of a year you might have a total of a couple of hours accumulated. My hope for creating Guilt-Free Girls Day Get-Away is to build these relationships that takes years in the course of one day.
