15 Things that I've Learned in the Current State of Economy as an Entrepreneur
1) The bench isn't for those who aren't worthy of playing, it's for those who can study the plays and be even more strategic to win in life. Be thankful for being refined. 2) Don't just keep a service because you've had it for 15 years. Contact your friends and local businesses first because they just might have something really awesome that works best for you. Keep in mind they just might understand the community that you live in and can work with you. 3) Explore what's out there...make a list of every service provider, every bill, every provider who is harassing you about your outstanding payment and start with them when knocking out the full plate of money management. 4) Get creative, get out and do something. Not every industry is suffering all of the time at the same time. 5) Swallow your pride and do work that no one else wants to do (legal and ethical of course), until you are out of the situation that stresses you most. 6) When you see a server, don't treat them like a servant, but instead be so grateful and express your admiration. They are the ones getting your hot food to you and be damn grateful for that hot food. 7) Don't stop living because finances aren't working as you think they should. Live differently, but not desperately, and learn new habits that you can carry with you even when you "more than enough". 8) Don't feel embarrassed about your situation, seek for the opportunity and the solution to the problem 9) Know that you will manifest your wishes, but it is likely in ways that are not typical of what you are used to. (Although the initial phase of this event is not always pleasant, with the right attitude and faith, you will manifest your dreams). 10) The how's don't matter, the action steps do. 11) Know your worth, know your value, do not let your financial situation define or identify who you are. 12) #11 comes from how you handle what comes your way. 13) Diversify, Diversify, Diversify. 1 job will not provide you security or freedom...that is dependent upon you, but never ever neglect one job for another, and never, ever neglect yourself. 14) I've cried, kicked rocks and you will likely too, but in the end I have kicked ass much more. 15) You can expect many emotions, but FOCUS is the true secret to successes. Pick your FOCUS wisely for it will become your destination.
